VISIT
Willingham Primary School
At Willingham Primary School, we have created a welcoming atmosphere where all are respected, valued and we work hard to get better everyday, from whatever our starting point.
Whether it’s in the way that the teachers deliver their lessons; the content that is being taught; the attitudes of children with each other and towards their learning; or the effort that they put into their work, the expectation is that we improve together. We work so that each day builds upon the last and leads towards the next.

OWLS Community Car Scheme
The OWLS Community Car Scheme serves residents of Willingham, Over, Longstanton and Swavesey. Run by DBS checked volunteers, it offers a door-to-door return car service for people – often the elderly – who do not have access to other forms of transport. The scheme is used mainly for medical journeys, such as hospital, GP surgery and physiotherapy, though on occasions some social journeys and local shopping trips are undertaken subject to driver availability.
Passengers make a contribution of 30p a mile, with a minimum charge of £3. This is payable to the driver on the day of the journey. Mileage is calculated to and from the driver’s home. Drivers use their own car and receive an additional 15p per mile from Cambridgeshire County Council.
